Old-Fashioned Oatmeal

1 cup raw oatmeal
1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon coarse salt

In cereal form, oats possess an abundance of elements that build blood, help the nerves and give energy and stamina.

Add the salt to the oatmeal while in the water and soak overnight, or for an hour. Warm to taste over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve with honey, certified raw milk or light cream or coconut milk and some fresh fruit in season. One may also add raisins or other dried fruits.

1 cup raw whole wheat 1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon coarse salt

A source of needed minerals and vitamins is found in all seeds. All add to the foundation, building and repair of the bone and muscle structure of the body.

Soak overnight or for an hour. Warm to taste over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve with milk, cream or coconut milk and fresh or dried fruits, as desired.

Untoasted Cream Of Wheat

1 cup raw cream of wheat
1 cup water
1 teaspoon coarse salt
The infant and aged needs assuaged here in this easily digested cereal. When prepared this way, all the minerals and vitamins remain for body growth, repair and energy.

Soak the cereal overnight and warm to taste over low heat, stirring constantly until ready to eat. Serve with honey, milk and fresh or dried fruits, as desired.

Corn Meal

2 cups yellow com meal
l½ cups water
1 teaspoon coarse salt

The incomplete protein in the corn is made complete by the added milk or cream.

Soak overnight or for an hour or two. Warm to taste over low heat and stir constantly (1 minute). Serve with fresh or dried fruit, milk, cream or coconut milk and honey.

Quick supper dishes in cereal form can be prepared as above. They can be made into pancakes, or loaves. Sear them over low heat in butter or oil. Tan them, do not brown them! This may be served with butter and salt, and with or without milk.

Some people like to make them into cupcakes or muffins by putting them into muffin tins and in the oven (200°) to air dry for about five minutes with heat on, and fifteen with heat off. Good with salads as a quick supper or with some meat or fish.
