Chapter 10 - Mid-Nite Snick-Snacks

Don't go to bed hungry, just eat the right thing.

Fruits

Banana
Apple
Pear
Orange
Dates
Figs
Tangerines
Mango
Grapefruit
Raisins
Grapes
Dried Peaches
Watermelon
Dried Apricots
Honey dew
Fresh Apricots

Cheese And Fruits

Apple slices and pear slices with aged cheeses such as:
Gorgonzola
Camembert
Cheddar
Swiss
Roquefort
Bleu Cheese

Cut the fruit into round slices, and fill the holes with a bit of cheese.

Cucumber Surprises

Slice cucumber thin and spread with:
Raw peanut butter Raw cashew nut butter Cheese
Crushed nuts and currants Caviar

Oatmeal Mix

Mix oatmeal with fruits of any kind and a little milk or none, as desired. May use dried fruit.

Also, use cut up tomatoes with raw oatmeal, oil and seasonings. (Coarse salt, pepper, and oregano or basil leaf)

A kind of Pizza:
1 cup raw oatmeal
2 tomatoes, liquefied in blender
½ cup Cheddar or Provolone cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Coarse salt and dash of oregano

Mix together and heat in a pan until hot.

Tea Or Coffee

Use Peppermint tea

If iced coffee desired, use one cup of hot coffee with 6 chunks of ice and put into blender. Mix thoroughly. It will taste and look like it had all the fixings in it. Very foamy.
